A wide notch lapel, a double-breasted front and a tie belt in the same fabric make this the most dressed coat we sell. The colour is a deep, rich burgundy and the hem falls to the ankle.

Belt it for a defined waist or wear it open for a long, easy line. Over black, it carries a whole outfit.

      Short of the ankle on me

      Gorgeous colour and the wide lapel is as sharp as it looks. At 5'10 the hem stops a bit above my ankle, so not quite the floor-sweeping look.

      Heeled boots

      Size down if you're petite

      Went for the XS and it's still big in the shoulders. The belt rescues it, but I'd go down a size if you're slim. Colour is a lovely deep red.

    Yes. A fine knit or thin jumper fits easily. For a chunky knit, take one size up.

    How long is it?

    It falls close to the ankle. It will sit a little higher on a shorter frame.

    Does it have a belt?

    Yes. The belt is part of the coat, so you can pull in the waist or leave it loose.

    How do I look after it?

    Dry cleaning is the safest choice. Steam it to remove creases and hang it on a wide hanger.
