Ruffle-Sleeve Denim Jacket

It stops right at my waist, so it really only works with dresses or high-waist bottoms. Otherwise the pointed collar and flap pockets are lovely and it's my go-to for brunch.

Chucked it over a white dress and it looked put together straight away. The three-quarter sleeves are ideal because I'm not constantly pushing them up.

The chest flap pockets are mostly for looks, so don't plan on carrying your phone there. Everything else is great, especially the soft frill on the sleeves.

Fitted through the waist without pulling across the shoulders. I washed it cold inside out and the colour held, and the ruffles didn't go limp.

Cropped and properly fitted, so I went up a size to fit a knit underneath at my cousin's birthday lunch. The ruffle at the cuffs and hem is the best bit and the button front still closes nicely.

Love the little ruffles on the three-quarter sleeves, they look so pretty with a midi skirt. Only niggle is the hem frill creases after sitting in the car, so it needed a quick cool iron on the reverse.

Over a black fitted knit and a pleated skirt for a night out in Manchester, and two different girls asked where it was from. That frilly hem makes a plain outfit feel finished.

Normal denim jackets feel boxy on me, but this one nips in at the waist and the pointed collar is flattering. My usual size fits well.

The mid blue is a really nice wash, not too dark and not faded. I wear it with a floral sundress and the frills echo the hem of the skirt.

Dressed up for a hen do and down with a plain tee on the school run. The cropped length means it never drags on my dress hem.

I don't normally do frills, but these are small enough that it still feels like proper denim. The collar and chest pockets keep it casual.
