Bold Check Wool-Look Coat

Wore it over a black roll neck to see the lights and everyone in the group wanted a go. Oversized in the best way, with the check as the star.

Threw it over denim for brunch. The colours are bright but they work together, and the wool-look cloth is properly warm.

Gorgeous coat. Dry cleaning is recommended, which means I haven't dared wash it and I avoid wearing it in muddy weather.

Walked down the high street and collected smiles. Bright, cheerful and the generous cut feels relaxed.

Bright plaid that makes plain black outfits pop. The notch lapel is neat, the loose body fits a chunky knit underneath, and it falls to the thigh.

The check is stunning, but it was creased when I took it out of the bag. A steam sorted it out and now I love it.

The colours in this check are so cheerful that even a wet commute feels better. The wool-look fabric feels substantial and the thigh length covers me on the walk from the station.

I adore it, but with such a loud multicolour check everything else has to stay plain. That suits me, though it won't suit everyone's wardrobe.

Black jeans, white trainers and this coat. Simple outfit, big effect, and the lapel sits sharp even after a day of wearing.

Over a little black dress it felt fun and grown-up at the table. The loose body doesn't squash what's underneath.
