Faux Leather Aged-Finish Zip Bomber Jacket

Dropped shoulder, cropped length and a stand collar I fold down: everything I wanted from a brown bomber. Wore it over a long skirt to a gig and it held its own.

The black has the same worn, rubbed look, so it isn't stiff and glossy like cheap faux leather. Wore it with a mini and boots on a Friday night and felt very put together.

The off-centre zip is the reason I chose black and it did not disappoint. Dropped shoulder gives a relaxed line and it's short enough to show off my high waist.

I replaced a tatty bomber with this and it is miles smarter. The elasticated hem sits nicely over my jeans, and a muddy walk wiped off in seconds with a damp cloth.

Very pretty in chocolate and the rubbed finish looks amazing in daylight. It's properly cropped and stops at the waist, so it only works with high-waisted bits, but I'm happy with that.

Works over a white tee, a knit dress or a slip. Because the finish is already aged, little scuffs just blend in.

The rubbed, aged finish on the chocolate means it looks like a vintage find from day one. The off-centre zip is a small thing but it makes the whole jacket feel less ordinary.

Smart black bomber with a lovely worn look and the collar sits well. It shows dust and fingerprints, so I give it a wipe with a damp cloth every few wears. Easy enough.

I adore the chocolate colour and weathered look. Faux leather isn't very breathable, so I end up taking it off in warm cafes. The elasticated hem keeps draughts out outdoors though.
