      Christmas party coat

      Warm but not bulky

      Bit snug with chunky knits

      The fit is close and tailored, which I like, but a chunky jumper underneath makes it a squeeze. Wearing a thin knit or a dress is perfect, and I would just bear that in mind.

      Every day winter coat

      The belt makes it

      Careful with makeup and coffee

      It is a stunning coat, but ivory is of course unforgiving, so I am careful near my foundation and my coffee. A damp cloth wipes small marks, which is reassuring.

      Hood trim gets fluffy

      I adore the fur trim, though it does get a bit tousled after wearing it in the wind and needs a smooth with my fingers. Small price for something that looks this pretty.

      Belt pulls it in a lot

      Gorgeous and cosy, and I love the knee-length shape. The belt is quite snug at the waist if I wear it over a thick jumper, so I leave it a bit looser then.

      Looks lovely in photos
